Independence Day

We are blessed to have friends that live on a lake and invited us to stay with them for the Holiday. It’s been wonderful and a welcome respite to get away from the “to do list” and daily grind of getting our new home settled and ready to hit the road.

This year, “freedom” and “independence” have a whole new meaning and feeling for us. It’s truly hard to believe we are only 3 weeks from being on our own. Free to decide our daily pace and activities. Free to decide our direction and view. Makes us feel like we should write our own Declaration of Independence to mark the occasion. Hmmmm….

  1. So happy to join your blog! Yes freedom is good in many aspects…not only in traveling but in worship of the Lord! Looking forward to seeing your travels. Love M and J
